About This Quote

The average person has a mind that is always working. They are seldom truly at rest, seldom truly happy. When they are at rest, they are often filled with thoughts of their next problem or what they need to get done. How else will they fill the time when nothing is happening? Thinking too much? Of course, no one thinks too much.

It’s just one of those things people say to themselves when there are no other people around to hear them say it. But, in the grand scheme of things, thinking isn’t bad. It can be quite useful in many cases.

The question is whether thinking too much is the same thing as thinking too little? The average person spends so much time simply living out their life in thought that it seems probable that thinking too much would lead to thoughts of nothing at all.
